From the boutique to the campground - what a day!!

So we decided that we need more sun and warmer temps. Google to the rescue ;-) found the lakehead campground, and after a quick call to Cecil, the owner, we had procured the "Lil Kabin" for a few nights at shasta lake. It is an original 50's tip out and is just cool!!!! Oh ya, and 5 minutes from the kayak launch too :-)

What next?

Currently pondering which way to point the car. Healdsburg area looks cool, but it's 95 in shasta. Decisions, decisions...

EDK, Sam, and the best Carpaccio EVER!!!

We were thinking about a return trip to Rin's Thai, but alas, they are closed on Mondays. So, based on yelp, and a recommendation from mark and lori, we headed to the patio at EDk (aka El Dorado Kitchen). The patio was fabulous, the food was amazing and our server Sam was great!!!

Big standout for me (Kirstin) was the wagyu beef carpaccio. I LOVE Carpaccio, and they add a crispy jasmine rice to theirs that just tops any Carpaccio I have ever had. Sublime.

Photo time!

Sam :-)

Dessert!!

Cheers!!

Terri's Ode to #20

Haiku:

Oh number twenty
The most delicious of Thai
Never forget you.

Limerick:

There once was a dish from Rinn's Thai
A little house not to pass by
The most beautiful dish
Not to be missed
Kirstin wished she'd had mine.
